Welcome to the Charlevoix Assembly website, we’re so glad that you’re looking into our church. We are a very integrated body of spirit-filled believers in our community. Our backgrounds are very diverse and we welcome all visitors to worship with us. We have been in this community since 1948 with a few charter members still active in our body.

The moment of finding God’s saving grace is the highlight of a person’s life, but it is only the beginning…

After this life-changing event, discipleship and continued training in God’s word is vital to living a powerful and overcoming life. As a body of believers, our goal is to provide solid Bible teaching and continuous opportunity for the Holy Spirit to operate through us, teaching us about his grace and the power of the cross. We do this through

• Sunday School classes for all ages (except for the month of August, we will resume in September)
• Vibrant Senior Youth group
• Mid-week bible studies
• Ladies bible study groups
• Extra-curricular events that are planned throughout the year

We are especially fond of the instruction we receive from Colossians 1:9-12 says:

“…we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God.”

With this instruction comes teaching on intercessory prayer, meaning we should pray for another without ceasing and that we learn to recognize God’s version of answered prayers in the form of “His Will” not always “our will”. Learning “spiritual” wisdom and understanding and walking in a manner worthy and pleasing to the Lord is our goal. When we live like that, then we will have the joy of the Lord in our lives…
